What is the Sing-Together Project?

Picture

The Sing-Together Project is a communal singing initiative based in the Greater Los Angeles area. We partner with organizations who want to use music, and specifically group singing, as a means of enhancing experience, bringing people together, and often voicing a message.

Empowering Community Through Music

Through strong personal relationships, the mission of the Sing-Together project is to use communal singing and group music-making to foster a love of and commitment to people, supporting and finding opportunities to make a difference.  As shown throughout history, we believe in the power of music to bring communities together, build for the future, advocate for social justice and equality, teach valuable life lessons and morals, and encourage spiritual exploration. We use music for a purpose, a means to an end, that can create positive change or inspire listeners to think differently. Making music together empowers us to become better versions of ourselves and to create a better world for everyone to live in. The Sing-Together Project stands for:
Love over all forms of hate
Life-long education and
independent critical thinking
Fun and meaningful music through
singing, listening, and dancing
Creativity and expression
Support for all genres of music
Equality and equitability
Resiliency
